How To Get the Most Out of Your Corporate Photography Shoot - Location!

You’ve heard it before……. location, location, location.

It’s a true statement, not only in life, but especially true in corporate photography. When planning a photo shoot, showing who you are and what your business is all about, you really need to find the best location for the images to have the impact you’re looking for. There is an unlimited variety of locations out there to use, you just need to get creative or decide what fits best with your business. Here are a few examples of locations some of our past clients have used.

Example 1 - Office Space: CFL Roofing

CFL roofing has us come out and get a variety of shots of them and their staff at their office. This is an easy location to arrange for! One of the hiuge advantages of doing it at your office space is all staff will likely be on site, and it allows for some staff headshots, lifestyle, and some location shots of the property too. All useful images to use in your marketing! So if you have an office space that was can show off then this is a simple option!

Example 2 - Rent a Unique Space: Peer Space Website

There are lot of places you can use to rent a unique location online - I never thought I’d find myself searching online to find a laundromat to use, but believe it or not even that is out there! I recently used a company called Peer Space to rent a unique camping location for some lifestyle photography. It was a small location but there were plenty of different areas to get a variety of lifestyle shots in a small amount of time.

Example 3 - In the Field: Epic Trail Tours

Epic Trail Tours is an e-bike company based in Aruba. They take tourists to the North side of the Island that cant be reached by a regular car. So people get to see the sights, and have fun on a pretty epic e-bike! We went on a tour with these guys to get a collection of photos of them doing what they do in the field.

Example 4 - Rental Property: Elepreneurs

We recently worked with Eleprenuers while they were having a company retreat in the Orlando area. They rented a beautiful home in Kissimmee, FL that included a variety of areas.

They hired us to come out and shoot a variety of lifestyle and portraits for all of their members. We spent probably 15-20 minutes with each person, 32 in total, getting them each a selection of images to use. These employees work a lot from home in a luxury industry so they needed variety in their images. This location was perfect. Not only did they get some stellar portraits, they also did some lifestyle things like working on the computer, drinking coffee while on the phone, working by the pool, co-working together, and much more.
